I love Dad!

What a ham. He was throwing a fit right before he saw the camera. His shirt says I Love Dad, he wore it for Father's Day last weekend.

Exploring.....

He's into everything. We finally put locks on the cupboards last weekend but he still has access to the cupboard with the tupperware. Boy was he mad when he couldn't open the doors anymore. He likes to look out the back window to see what the dogs are doing when they're outside. He likes to walk like a tightrope on the entertainment center. His favorite is playing hide and seek in the bathroom though.

This is how we roll....

Jeff likes riding in the wagon down at Grandma and Grandpa's. Fonzie had just had surgery the day before and had stitches so we put him in the wagon with Jeff. Jeff thought that was great, he petted him lots. You can't see it in the picture but he's holding on to Fonzie by his tail. Surprisingly, Fonz didn't seem to care but it could have been the post surgical drugs he was on!

No, I didn't teach him that!

We have a big party coming up next month. We got little man dressed in his monkey suit for pictures for the invites. Since he's like a tornado, Jason took pictures while I tried to get him to stay on the couch and smile. We got a bunch of pictures, Jeff was done. We get him out of the monkey suit and I upload the pictures. I was like, Oh these are perfect then I saw the finger. I was laughing so hysterically that I was crying. So I found a picture that I could crop his hand out of and used that one for the invite. Oh well, classic. Now we know he's my son for sure!

First hair cut

We took him in over Memorial Day weekend when I was getting my hair done so he could get trimmed up. His hair is already grown back over his ears again. He did pretty well but kept trying to move around. Only so much you can hope for at this point right?

Best friends?

The dogs have adjusted pretty well to Jeff. We still keep a close eye on them. Earlier this week, Jeff needed past Fonzie and he shoved him out of the way. We've been trying very hard to teach him to be nice to the puppy dogs. The dogs do appreciate that Jeff now throws stuff off of his high chair that they can eat!

Chicks and ducklings

One of the librarians at an elementary school does a project every year where she lets the kids help with hatching chicks and ducks from eggs. I was working a lot in her building during this time period and she offered to let me bring Jeff up to check it out during off hours. I have to say, I was way more enthralled with the little birds than Jeff was. I just love animals especially babies. NOTE: No animals were harmed in the making of this blog. :)

Jeff was more interested in the box than the ducks in the box.

This is seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

I was promised that I could bring him back next year when he might be more interested in the birds. Jason suggested we could put a chicken coup in our backyard but I said that I wasn't at all prepared for an adventure like that.
