Dogatopia

We took the dogs to Magnusson Park on Sunday after getting burgers from Dick's. It was a good afternoon for everyone!

One last thing.........

When we got the molding done, we asked Andrew (our installer) if he did french door installation and he said he did. We have been wanting to get rid of the slider for quite some time so we did it. We have to get more molding for alongside the doors. Andrew's not moving to Oklahoma now until the end of June so I think we will be calling him to re-do the molding in the spare room as well. It's hard to believe this is our house...........

One of my favorite things....

Fonzie sneaks up into bed all of the time. I'll come out of the shower and the only thing I can see is his little nose. It cracks me up. He wants to be totally snuggled but needs his nose uncovered.

Baby cows

They are SO cute. We were driving past and pulled closer for pictures. The cows thought we had something for them to eat so they came pretty close to us. Our little baby is suckling off of Betsy (big red cow) in the background.

Little Miss Sticky Fingers

Allyson has a new game. Put the rattles on her high chair, she throws them off, repeat, repeat, repeat. I can't believe she's going to be 7 months old next week!

Spontaneous trip to Grandma and Grandpa's

Everyone LOVES riding in the car!

I wish I had their life....

Passed out or just snuggled under the covers.

Molding

The crown molding is up. The computer room is totally done. Our room is partially done. All of the doors upstairs are totally done. The plastic is up downstairs so life is back to normal for the big dogs who have been stuck outside until just before bedtime all week. I can't wait to see if all done tomorrow.

So close...

This is what I saw when I got home from work today. I was like, I guess I'm not going in through the garage. Fortunately someone was in the house since I didn't have a key. The guys painted the molding today, they were most excited for sun during my lunch hour. The inside of the house is painted, just needs some touching up. Plastic will be gone tomorrow. I can't wait, the dogs keep waking me up walking on the plastic upstairs every morning before Jason's alarm goes off.

Light at the end of the tunnel

Today, they got all of the corners and low spots, tomorrow they will be rolling all of the walls. I can't wait to see it all done! Thursday, all of our molding will be installed. Friday they will be doing touch ups.

A science experiment?

The painters started yesterday and covered all of the furniture downstairs. Duke and Roscoe were most unhappy to be left outside until almost bedtime. Once they were in, they were confined to the upstairs so they couldn't rip the plastic.

Spike

On Sunday, Carrie, Edgar and Allyson came up for awhile so Edgar could help Jason move furniture out of the way for the painters. Allyson enjoyed the bulldog stuffed animal we got her and named "Spike." We found Spike at IKEA and that he looked like a lot of fun. He kept her quite entertained.

Watch out for flying monkeys!

We went to PetSmart tonight to get the dogs more Breath Busters and Roscoe's favorite monkey toy was on sale so we bought two. I snagged a hedgehog for Fonz out of my spare toys basket. Everyone was SO happy to get new toys. Surprisingly, it's been over an hour and the monkey squeakers are still alive.

Thank you Aunt Holly!

My Aunt Holly bought Fonzie a camo coat so he could go hunting with Dad. I told her that would never happen since he would have to get up early, get wet and be out in the cold. I finally got a chance to try it on him and he looked so cute. He actually wasn't too bent about having to play dress up.

It's been a bad week

It's been a long week. I got an ingrown toenail removed on Monday after work. It wasn't too bad actually until I woke up Tuesday morning and I had somehow completely thrown my back out. I could barely get out of bed but made myself do it. Spring Break is a busy time for us school district folks!

I woke up this morning and Fonzie was limping. I thought he might have strained something. I came home early to lay on an ice pack because my back was killing me. He was limping even worse. I couldn't find anything wrong until I looked closely at his paw. He had some type of weird pimply thing in between the pads on his paws. I took him to the vet late this afternoon and they couldn't figure out what it was.

Jason decided to take matters into our own hands. The pimply thing has been popped and drained. His paw is all wrapped up and Fonzie is resting comfortably.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

We went to Rainier last weekend to celebrate Jeremy's birthday. I got to spend lots of time with our nieces and nephews. We made them watch The Muppet Movie. Alexa was pretty into but Bryce wanted to watch cars. The dogs had fun playing together too, Ally and Dakota were down too, it was like wild kingdom!
