Cut me Mick

While I was pickling, Jason was digging out for a duck pond. He hit a bees nest with the brush hog and got stung above his eye. Since he's allergic, this is what you get. Poor guy.

Pickled...

With the assistance of my dear friend Jerry, I got our pickles done. We started with 100 pounds of cucumbers and ended up with 9 half gallons, 13 pints and 60 quarts. My feet are still killing me!

Horses are magic!

After Carrie's shower, I got to visit with my 2 favorite little girls. Bill took them down to see the horses and I am sure it's all that they are talking about still today!

Carrie's Baby Shower

Saturday was Carrie's baby shower. Suffice it to say, this child will never be warm and will never NEED to be naked! Thank you to all who attended!

Weiner Nationals!

On Friday night, we went to the Weiner Dog Races at Emerald Downs. It's one of my most favorite things to do in the world!

Sometimes bad weather isn't so bad....

I attended a BBQ last night on Lake Sammamish. I was more than a little miffed that I was experiencing frozen toes in August thanks to the cold rain. When the sun came out though, this is what everyone there got to see. It was amazing!

4th Annual Campout by the river

It was our annual camping weekend down at the river. We had 18 people camping throughout the weekend with 9 dogs. Good times were had by all. Notice that Roscoe is wearing boots in the very first boots, he has sensitive feet. He is apparently the first dog that anyone has ever seen chatter its teeth because it was too cold! It was hysterical!

Planes Trains and Automobiles - Atlantic City

Mom and I made the trek to Atlantic City, NJ for a day. I really liked walking along the boardwalk next to the ocean. Beyond that, this place was pretty seedy in comparison to Vegas. We made the best of it though!
