Welcome to the big top!

Jeff's Carnival/Circus themed birthday party was yesterday. A friend of mine made the cake, I never could have pulled something like this off.
We had lots of carnival games and prizes for the kids out in the garage. The food tent was in the backyard with Jason at the BBQ.

Jeff wasn't too sure about the cupcake but he got into it. We gave him the very top off of the big top on the big cake. There was red EVERYWHERE. He had to get a bath mid-party.

Good times were had by all. I'm exhausted. Back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off, boo!

Happy birthday...

We went to the Old Lahaina Town Luau on Jeff's birthday. We had a great time, Jeff really enjoyed the show and was good the entire night. He crashed pretty hard in the car on the way back to the condo.

Maui

Pictures are in no particular order, I couldn't get Blogger to do it. This is from dinner on our last night. The condos we stayed in had multiple BBQ areas. The one closest to our building has banana trees around it and was called The Banana Grill. Jeff actually has rice-a-roni on his eyelash.
Jeff at the aquarium in Maaelea.

Jeff and dad at Wedding Beach.

My mom also at Wedding Beach. We were trying to find turtles, no luck. :(

Before he started playing in the sand at the beach in Makena.

No explanation necessary....

We had a great time. It was a big bummer to leave but we'll be back someday. Hopefully soon!

Grandma's here!

My mom got here on the 5th for an almost 2 week long visit. Jeff has a great time with her. Sadly, she's already back in Pennsylvania and we're already looking forward to Thanksgiving when she's hoping to come back.

Jeff's first 4th of July

We went to a BBQ at my friend Edith's house. Jeff passed out on the swing. I love his outfit, there are flags on his shorts.

Jamming

We made strawberry jam a couple weeks ago. Allyson came up to entertain Jeff so we could actually get it done.

It was a beautiful day so we took a walk when we were done so Jeff could see the horses.

Meeting Emma

We went down to meet the newest edition to the family, Emma. It's hard to believe that Jeff was ever this small.

Aunt Carrie quickly passed off Jeff when she realized just how heavy he is.

We tested out the new Ergo Baby Carrier with Jeff in back. I don't think he's really a fan.

Jason got our shed painted, I think it turned out pretty good.

Birthday party fun

We went to Elleanor's 2nd birthday party a couple weekends ago. The weather was beautiful so little man got to crawl around in the grass. He immediately found the swing set and fell in love with the slide.

Kimmie made a really cool rainbow layer cake, it was both beautiful and delicious. Elle was nice enough to share her piece of cake with Gia.

I had fun shopping for Elle - I picked out the cutest 4th of July tutu and matching tank top. She liked it so much that she dropped her skirt in the middle of opening presents and put on our gift. Totally cracked me up.
