Bump turns to belly

Check it out! Carrie was showing me their stroller, they got a BOB. I told her how much you like yours Tracy!

It's good to be king....

All of the dogs were sacked out last night after a long day at Grandma and Grandpa's. We went to a late show of Indiana Jones - it was awesome!

They just don't know how good they have it!

This is Carrie and Edgar's dog, Daphne, she thinks she's a little dog and loves to play with the dachshunds, she thinks that she is one. She could be in a remake of "The Ugly Dachshund" if they wanted an American Bulldog instead of a Great Dane.
They love Gator rides!
But would not pose for family photos!
Even Fonzie was into it!
Then Duke got tired and got in the back of the truck and wouldn't get out even if Jason called him.

Worming cows.....

The cows were minding their own business and eating grass.
The horses wanted out of the corral.
The Cow Whisperer (aka Bill) lead the cows to this gate.
The cows stopped for some more munchies along the way. (The dark red cow is our cow Betsy.)
The cows moved into the corral.
Here's last year's calf, not named since he will be eaten.
Into the chute, get kisses from Winnie.
Get new fly tags. (This is our steer as well.)
Hip hip horray! We're out in the field again!

The look....

Please Mom, I promise to be good if you let me off of my pillow.......

Thanks for the guesses!

And apparently you guys all think that I am a VERY shrewd negotiator. First off, I would like to point out that there are 16 boxes of jars according to my count in the picture. Some of the boxes have more than a case in them. I paid a total of **drumroll please** of $28 for all of the jars shown here. Not too shabby. I ended up picking up more jars from another woman on Craig's List for $15 and it was a steal - brand new cases with lids and seals plus a ton of other new lids and seals! I think I'm set for jars now. I guess it was a short lived obsession!

He's no mental giant

The dogs were playing on Friday night and we hear Roscoe whining. Apparently, he got "stuck" between the couch, the wall and the kennel door. I guess he didn't realize the he could have either a) pushed on the kennel door to get it out of the way or b) jumped over the door (which he is totally capable of doing!). I really think that he takes the blonde thing a little too seriously!

Dog day afternoons of summer

Eating ice cubes off of the porch when it's hot....

Hanging out with your aunts....

Having unwelcome guests crash your party...

A swim in the river....
Watching your brother get yelled at for going out too far in the current in the river.....

Latest obsession....

I've started looking for jars on Craig's List and it's turned into a bit of an obsession now since I keep getting really good deals. After this picture was taken, I ended up with even more after picking up another batch from a friend who had picked some jars up for me. So guess how much I paid for all of the jars that you see in this picture? Email me your guesses!

The many neuroses of Roscoe

For whatever reason, Roscoe will run away, bark and crouch down in a fighting position if you jangle the dogs' food bowls together.

He thinks he means business. You can actually chase him around the house and he will run from the big bad food bowls. It's pretty hysterical to watch. I know I shouldn't tease him, but I can't help it!

That's no beer gut!

Carrie's showing some serious bump, she's 20 weeks now so halfway there!

Happy Mother's Day

This can mean only one thing with the Turner Family - Mother's Day Classic out at the Equestrian Center. I spent the day handing out awards while Jason helped reset jumps. We brought the dogs along and they had a good time as well.
Duke and Roscoe went for a walk with Dad.
Fonzie begged for a bite of hamburger from Grandma.
He scoped out the local landscape too. (Love the raised paw!)
And I made friends with a half dachshund, quarter boxer and quarter boston terrier named Lola, isn't she cute?

Welcome to our blog!

I felt left out by everyone blogging so decided that it was time to start one of our own. We traded in the Altima last Thursday for a 2007 Kia Sorento. We took the boys for a ride in it to Rainier to visit Grandma and Grandpa on Saturday. As you can see, they had a good time! Roscoe loved sticking his head out the window.

They both liked the extra space to nap in the back.
And Fonzie of course was still in the front seat and having nothing to do with his brothers in the back!
